I don't get it. You don't need a blockchain to standardize interoperability. You just need people to want to do it because the equilibrium state of their business interests is to do it. I never see any web3 proponents adequately comparing detailed equilibrium scenarios in Web2 vs Web3 to coherently argue that Web3 actually changes the equilibrium, and I'm quite sure it doesn't change the equilibrium.
